Hey Professor Walter! Love your essentials of screenwriting book and appreciate you doing these podcasts. I was curious to your opinion of what to do in the scenario of having put a good amount of time and effort into a script, only to find out something similar is being produced / has recently been released. Would you scrap the idea and move on? Do you alter your script to have enough dissimilarity to distinguish itself? Do you stay the course and finish your original idea anyway?
